Fantastic Italian cuisine and very nice atmosphere for a great dining experience. They are very busy and the service, which was so-so, feels rushed to get you out the door.

Got some food for take out with a side of mushy microwaved mixed vegetables for $10 when I could pay $1.50 for a frozen bag of green giants at the grocers with more flavor than this stuff.

Great food and always enjoy our meals here. Love that's it's BYOB.

Personally I think something happened to the Cook it does not taste the same they must have replaced the cook with somebody else it tastes like it's boiled artichoke supposed to be sauteed taste like it was boiled in hot water same thing with the meal taste like it was boiled. Atmosphere beautiful Staff, excellent.....and the girl that graduated in 1990 beautiful woman excellent personality....

Looking for a nice Italian place on the island somehow isn't easy, but Rockafellas is not a bad choice. Menu is large with daily specials and good portion sizes. However, it is very overpriced. Many dishes are expensive as is (Penne Vodka was around $24) and doesn't come with meat. If you want to add grilled chicken it's an extra $10 on top of the already inflated prices. I'm sorry but no amount of chicken that would be added to that dish would make it worth $10. The food was delicious, but it is overpriced. Be prepared to spend some money!

Awesome service and food came out quick on a busy Friday night. Everything we ordered was delicious. Definitely going back.

Byob. The place is nice. They make u wait and there are empty tables. As far I know you can't make reservation. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they're understaffed. I ordered something simple linguini with shrimp garlic and oil. I see all this burnt garlic in my dish. It tasted terrible. My wife ordered a pasta dish with vodka sauce in place of the sauce on the menu. The waitress said no problem. It came out with no vodka sauce. She sent it back and the cook said that is how they make it. Like take it or leave it. She didn't like it. To cap off the night, I ordered an espresso that was very bitter. The worst I ever had. How can you screw up espresso. Plus the guy next to us was complaining about the bread being cold. They have a packed house and people waiting. Herd the people in and serve them whatever. Bad night. There are better places.

Excellent food and perfect service. On our first visit we had the entire family, screaming kids and all and the meal was great and the staff was extremely accommodating. On this last visit, it was only the two of us and we had a great meal. Every plate we had was excellent. Thank you!!

Auth Italian restaurant in town, deco is very ocean theme and warming feeling. Staff are very friendly and efficient. BYOB is awesome!

Simple pasta dishes start at ~$21. Most dishes are $30+. I don't mind paying those prices if the food is good. However, everything about this meal was average. Shrimp and scallops dish had only 3 shrimp and 3 small scallops. Appetizers (calamari, caprese salad and mussels were small portions and were fine. But for the price, you expect either a larger portion or higher quality product. Espresso afterwards was simply terrible. Not sure if it was the beans, the machine or the operator but not good.

Everything great. If you go around 7 pm be prepared for an HR wait. But worth it. BYOB. If you can't wait to get inside to drink then bring your own glasses and drink outside while you wait. I didn't realize you could do that but they were doing it

The staff was friendly and helpful. I recognize we were there at a busy time but the food took forever to arrive. I found the calamari breaded nicely but relatively flavorless. We had a seafood pasta dish that was not worth the $28 price tag. And we had the chicken marsala which was nice. Overall I found it over priced and not worth the wait.

Great Italian at the Jersey shore. The owner and host and staff are all terrific and attentive.I want to edit this post to add that the tomato sauce, a.k.a. Gravy is too sweet. We got it in the Bolognese. It should never be sweet. Please use different tomatoes or please do not add sugar. Thx!

Awesome place. Great food, bring your own beverage. Also no reservations. Opens at 5 get there around that time for no wait. Great service all parts of the meal were delicious. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a good spot in seaside.

Food is really good. Service was very good as well. Go early or you'll have a bit of a wait. It gets VERY busy.The downsides are... It takes quite some time to get food out, hence the long wait. If you dont drink soda or unsweetened iced tea you have no other choices. You'll just drink water. It's also very expensive. Kids ravioli is $12 for 4 ravs, for example. Penne vodka is a large portion but it's a $23 dish.As I said above, food is good though. It's a nice place for dinner.

Service was good. Horrible steak. Management didn't care. Hope it closes down and a good restaurant opens.

First time tonight. Host very friendly. Appetizer Carozza absolutely delicious in an unbelievable tomato sauce. Entrees Shrimp & Scallop Risotto and Salmon & Shrimp Pesto Risotto were outstanding. Colleen our server fantastic service. BYOB. This place worth the wait.

The absolute best Oysters Rockefeller I have ever had in my entire life. The salmon special shown below was out of this world and so much food I literally couldn't finish everything. Our server Bunny was so fabulous I can't stress enough how wonderful she was. Excellent meal, excellent service would highly recommend this to anybody who's visiting the Jersey Shore.

Great small place to go on Fridays and Saturdays during the winter. Have gone twice so far and have not been disappointed yet. It is a bring your own alcohol establishment.

Unbelievable Food BYOB

All in all a great place. Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Also being a BYOB place, pricing is reasonable. Shout out to Vinny for being a great waiter!

Judging by how full this place seems to be over the summer months I must have attended on a very off night but the food was bland and flavourless and to call what we received bruschetta would be an insult. It would have been more tolerable with good service but our waiter seemed to take it personally that we weren't happy to wait 50 minutes between ordering and receiving the food, "well we make every dish to order" - yes that is in keeping with 90% + of restaurants. I would have assumed that they grew the vegetables for my pasta dish in that time but that wouldn't explain why they tasted three days old.

Good food, wait was long but as expected

I can only rate the food since due to Covid restrictions we couldn't get a table for an hour and can't say anything about the service or facility. We got our dinner to go and it was great. Can't wait to go back. Scallops and shrimp fra Diablo was very tasty.

The dishes where over salted. And the pasta was cold . The oil for dipping was plain vegatabel oil Not olive oil. The service was good , food could and should have better. Not planning to visit this restaurant in the near future.

The food is so good! The atmosphere is great and the staff and owner couldnt be more friendly and accommodating. Had my Uncle Pete's 80th Birthday party here and the owner and staff knocked it out of the park! They went above and beyond. We cant wait to come back!

It was a good meal. The calamari was delicious and is arguably on my top 5 list because of it(I unapologetically demote an Italian restaurant if their calamari is prepackaged, overcooked, or grossly exaggerated to be some new take on calamari). We had shrimp parmigiana which was fine and a special dish with pesce de mare and linguine. The special was very good. Overall, only slight complaint was pricing, but we were in Lavallette (to be expected). Ciao

Great food, great service and great people. You won't be disappointed even if you have to wait.. the renovation to the front area looks awesome and allows that many more people to experience their delicious food..BYOB.
